What I Delivered

Description: As a seasoned freelance UX designer, I am thrilled to present the culmination of my work for McDonald’s iconic Big Mac on its 20th anniversary – a cutting-edge digital experience that pays homage to the beloved burger while ushering it into the digital age.

1. Immersive Interactive Website: Our team has crafted a visually stunning and user-friendly website that serves as the central hub for the Big Mac’s 20th-anniversary celebrations. Users will be greeted with an interactive timeline, tracing the Big Mac’s journey from its inception to the present day. Engaging animations and seamless transitions guide visitors through the burger’s evolution, creating an immersive storytelling experience.

2. Augmented Reality (AR) Menu Exploration: To bring the Big Mac to life in a novel way, we’ve integrated AR technology into the McDonald’s app. Customers can now explore the Big Mac menu in augmented reality, virtually placing the iconic burger on their tables and customizing it with various ingredients. This feature not only enhances user engagement but also creates a memorable and shareable experience.

3. Social Media Campaign Assets: To generate buzz and excitement, I’ve designed captivating visuals and animated content tailored for McDonald’s social media platforms. These assets include shareable GIFs, short videos, and eye-catching graphics that showcase the Big Mac’s journey and invite users to join the celebration with hashtag campaigns.

4. Mobile App Gamification: Transforming the Big Mac celebration into an interactive game, our team has developed a gamification feature within the McDonald’s mobile app. Users can unlock special achievements, collect digital “Big Mac badges,” and participate in challenges that test their knowledge of the Big Mac’s history, all while earning exclusive rewards and discounts.

5. Virtual Reality (VR) Dining Experience: For a truly innovative twist, we’ve created a virtual reality dining experience. Customers can don VR headsets and embark on a virtual journey that simulates the ambiance of enjoying a Big Mac in various iconic McDonald’s locations around the world. This not only elevates the dining experience but also transports users to different cultural settings, creating a unique and memorable celebration.

The digital artifacts delivered for the 20th anniversary of the Big Mac aim to captivate audiences, foster engagement, and celebrate the legacy of this iconic burger. Through a combination of cutting-edge technology, interactive storytelling, and immersive experiences, McDonald’s customers will embark on a journey that transcends the physical and dives deep into the heart of the Big Mac’s legacy.
